As a core part of its offering, ResusPod provides verifiable face to face medical emergency training sessions and regular updates. You will be contacted to arrange training when you have placed an order for the kit.
The training has been developed by Kathryn Taylor and Julie Burke, two dentists & academics from Leeds Dental Institute who are qualified in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Whilst there are a number of private operators offering courses in subjects such as Basic & Immediate Life Support, Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support, there are very few providers of actual Medical Emergency Training.
Medical emergencies training for the dental team is now compulsory. Continued professional development must be verified. Annual training in the management of medical emergencies is recommended. A minimum of 10 hours CPD in medical emergency management must be performed in five years for dentists and dental care practitioners.
