An AED is a portable device used to check the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart in order to restore the normal heart rhythm.  With the recent passing of World Heart Rhythm Week, an awareness week set up by Arrhythmia Alliance, we are reminded just how important AED’s are when it comes to medical services.  At Openhouse, we are also aware those who use them in emergency situations need to be able to comfortably transport them to the patient.
