On the 25th of May, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will officially be enforced.  This is the new data protection rule from the EU which replaces the Data Protective 96/46/EC and is designed to blend data laws across Europe, to protect the data privacy of all EU citizens as well as reshape the way companies approach data privacy.  With this new law coming into fruition, most organisations will be working to upgrade their current systems to comply with the new laws.

When updating their current systems, many may want to get new equipment in addition to ensuring their system complies with the new law.

With the rise in mobile and tablet computing, many medical organisations may see the benefit of bringing in tablet computers and laptops into their fleets.  For instance, a Microsoft Surface may be a popular choice as it is compatible with PC’s and also because it can be used with a stylus, which may be more precise when filling in details such as patient information.

Did you know that Openhouse manufacture tablet cases and laptop bags?  It’s true!  We make various tablet cases and laptop bags to order, as well as offering them off the shelf along with additional products such as the Observation Kit Bag and Small OH Backpack can also accommodate laptops and tablets.  If you are working with tablet PC’s or laptops in your medical company, feel free to browse our selection of products below and get in contact if you think professional branded technology bags could benefit your organisation.
