Defibuary is a campaign started last year by Welsh Ambulance Service to draw attention and awareness to the use of Defibrillators.  Defibs are designed to be stored away for long periods without use and require little maintenance so they’re always ready!  They are also designed for easy operation.  A simple course can equip someone with the knowledge to use a defib appropriately.

The chances of surviving a heart attack without intervention decreases by 10% with every passing minute.  When a defib is used within the first 3-5 minutes, survival rates increase by 6%-74%.

We have many defibs in stock that may make a fine addition to your medical kit, service or business that just might save a life.[vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”24848,24849″ img_size=”full”] iPAD offer both Semi-Automatic and a Fully Automatic variant of the CU-SP1 so you can choose whichever suits your practice and your needs.  The Semi-Automatic model will provide the rescuer with control over when the shock is administered.  This also gives the rescuer time to ensure no one is touching the patient.  A fully-automatic defib will warn you to step away from the patient before sending the shock when it deems the time right.  We currently have both variants of the iPAD CU-SP1 for £899.99 + VAT and the price includes a battery, electrodes and a rescue ready kit.[vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”24852,24853,24854,24851″ img_size=”full”] The Zoll AED Pro Semi-Automatic Defibrillator has a unique feature; a USB port that allows for patient information to be stored on a USB should it ever be needed.  It also has a built 7 hour memory, however the USB use is unlimited.  The AED Pro is only available in a Semi-Automatic variant.  It is packed with a range of different features such as ECG monitoring with a 3-lead cable and display, and See-Thru-CPR.  This defib comes boxed with a soft carry case, a disposable battery, a 3-lead ECG cable, CPR Defib Pads with a responder kit and a operator’s guide so you have everything you need right away.

As well as defibs we also sell a range of both made to order and stocked bags to house them in.  Whilst defibs do require minimum maintenance, proper storage will ensure that it is well protected and ready for use.
